Under IKEA Centres responsibility, MAR Shopping Matosinhos opened on 16th October 2008 and it is the largest European Shopping Centre of IKEA Group. It is located in an area of confluence of road accesses and has an area of influence of 2.8 million people.

210 stores distributed for over 100.000m2 of gross lettable area, of which 36.600m2 belong to the Matosinhos IKEA store, open since July 2007.

With an innovative concept, where the entrance atrium is shared with the Matosinhos IKEA store, MAR Shopping Matosinhos is divided in two floors, 4.0000m2 of restaurants, 5.100 exclusive parking places and the only LEGO® Fun Factory in the north region. 

FNAC, Jumbo, Radio Popular, Cinemas NOS, Inditex Group (Zara, Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Lefties and Uterque), H&M, Sfera (El Corte Inglês Group), Kiabi, Mango, Toys R Us, Worten and SportZone are some of the brands present in the largest commercial space of the north of Portugal.
