The IKEA Brighton City Store opened at Churchill Square on the site of the former Debenhams, as part of IKEA’s ongoing transformation to become more accessible to customers. Churchill Square’s strong retail fundamentals continue to be adapted to community needs, while opportunities to support local reuse, repair and other circular activities are being explored as part of the continued development of the meeting place.

The IKEA Brighton City Store achieved a BREEAM Refurbishment and Fit Out – Excellent rating for the refurbishment and fit-out of the store.
